Questions
How do I read a QR code from a picture?
Choose a picture of the code, or paste one. The page finds the code and shows the text in it. A link shows as text. You choose if you open it.
Does the page open the link in the code?
No. The page shows the text only. Some bad codes lead to false sites. Read the address first. Open it only if you trust it.
Can I paste a screenshot?
Yes. Copy the picture. Then press Ctrl+V, or Cmd+V on a Mac, on this page. On a phone, choose the picture from your photos.
Why does the page find no code?
The picture can be blurry, cut off or too small. Use a sharp picture with the whole code in it. The code needs a clear border around it.
Can I scan a code with my camera on this page?
No. The page reads pictures, not live video. To scan a code in front of you, use the camera app of your phone.
Does the page upload my picture?
No. Your browser reads the picture. The page sends no picture and no text. It has no account and no tracking. Read more about privacy.
